India Vs Ireland Cricket World Cup 2011 Match Online Live Streaming

AT M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, cricket spectators watched two high voltage dramas in the last week. First, in-spite of scoring 338 runs, India tied their match against England on Sunday, February 27. Next, on March 2, Ireland upset the English team by three wickets after chasing the Cricket World Cup record of 327 runs. The Irish batsman Kevin O'Brien scored the fastest 100 in world cups in just 50 deliveries.

MS Dhoni-led Indian team won the inaugural match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 against Bangladesh by 87 runs. Team India is in third place in the points table after South Africa and West Indies in group 'B', whereas the Irish team is in the fifth spot with one victory.

Indian bowling attack is one of the biggest obstacles for team India to lift ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 trophy. In the last two matches, main weapons in the bowling department Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Munaf Patel conceded 321 runs for 13 wickets.

Meanwhile, Indian batsman scored more than 330 runs on both the occasions, however, during the last match against England, team India lost their last seven wickets for just 33 runs in four overs. Indian fielding is also a big concern for the team management. In this area Indians need to improve a lot.

Ireland started their ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 campaign with a loss against Bangladesh. In the next match they beat England. Prior to the World Cup, the Irish team lost to New Zealand by 32 runs and beat Zimbabwe by four wickets in the warm-up matches. Their batting is mainly dependent on O'Brien brothers (Kevin and Niall O'Brien), Ed Joyce and John Mooney.

Once again, if Dhoni will win the toss at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, he will likely to decide bat first. Once again Indian batsmen will set a huge target for the Irish batsmen in the 22nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Dhoni will likely to play with the same team who had played against England.

Indian and Ireland squads for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011:

India: MS Dhoni (capt/wk), Virender Sehwag(vice capt), Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, R. Ashwin, Piyush Chawla, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Munaf Patel and S. Sreesanth.

Ireland: William Porterfield (capt), Trent Johnston, Alex Cusack, Andre Botha, Kevin O'Brien, Niall O'Brien (wk), Nigel Jones, Ed Joyce, John Mooney, Paul Stirling, Gary Wilson (wk), George Dockrell, Boyd Rankin, Albert van der Merwe, Andrew White.

England vs South Africa Cricket World Cup 2011 Online Live Streaming

England vs South Africa ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 – Group A
ENGLAND vs SOUTH AFRICA ICC WORLD CUP 2011
Date: 6 March 2011 – Time: 9:00 AM GMT
Venue: Chennai

Another big match on 6th March as we whave two teams going head to headl, with one of them now fighting to get into the quarter Finals as England try to get somthing out of this match against South Africa whcih will be played at chennai cricket stadium and it will be interesting to see whether England bowling can contain South African run mechines like Amla, De Villiers and other inform players. England are coming into this match on the back of a very poor match against Ireland when they could not defend a total of 328 against on of the minnows and register one of the biggest shocks in the World Cup history.

South Africa on the other hand are playing some sublime cricket at the moment with their star players all in form and playing on top of their game while their bowling is very stable as well compared to England, AB Divilliers in such a great form at the moment and it will be intersting to see How England cope with him and SA batting order.

This match will be played under flood lights which would mean that team chasing will have some difficult time, and historicaly Chennai have been a high scoring ground and I can see another 300 runs match again. Only time will tell whether England have enough in their tank to make a comeback after a shambolik defeat in the hands of Ireland.

Predictions: South Africa are playing too good for my liking to be beaten by England, I can see only 1 result in this one and that is a South Africa win.

Sri Lanka vs Kenya Live Streaming Highlights – Cricket World Cup 2011

Sri Lanka would look to bounce back after their morale-sapping loss to Pakistan and avenge their 2003 edition defeat at the hands of Kenya when they take on the African associate nation in their ICC Cricket World Cup Group A match on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka, tipped as one of the title contenders, lost to Pakistan by 11 runs on Saturday and they would look to lift their morale with a big win against Kenya at the R Premadasa Stadium.

They have also got the boost ahead of Tuesday's match with fast bowler Lasith Malinga available for selection after sitting out of Sri Lanka's last two matches due to a sore back.

Sri Lanka can ill-afford to take their opponents lightly, though Kenya had suffered heavy defeats at the hands of New Zealand and Pakistan in their last two matches and facing internal division with differences between their coach Eldine Baptiste and senior players.

Against the Kiwis, Kenya were bowled out for 69 runs, their lowest total in ODI cricket, and then Pakistan thrashed them by 205 runs at Hambantota.

However, the last time Sri Lanka and Kenya met in a World Cup encounter was in 2003 and the Africans had stunned the 1996 champions on that occasion with an upset win in Nairobi.

Understandably, Sri Lanka coach Trevor Bayliss warned his players not to be complacent.

"The fact that we did not win our last game will stop any complacency. Our guys are consciously aware of playing good cricket and we certainly will not take them lightly," Bayliss said.

He said Malinga was able to bowl full steam at the nets on Monday and he would be available for selection.

"Lasith bent over to pick up a cricket ball about two weeks ago and strained his back a little. The physio said that the first two weeks were the most important after his injury as the most likelihood of him re-injuring was that period. He bowled in the last two practice sessions. He has bowled with a full run-up today and batted and fielded.

We have a selection meeting in the evening and will decide what to do then," Baylisss said.

Kenya, on the other hand, are facing trouble ahead of their all-important match with reports of differences between players and coach emerging.

Cricket Kenya chief Samir Inamdar on Sunday blamed differences between the players and West Indian coach Eldine Baptiste for their lacklustre performances so far.

Kenyan captain Jimmy Kamande, however, dismissed suggestions that there was disunity within the squad and promised a better performance on Tuesday.

"I also read those reports. I have not spoken to the chairman, but I can tell you that my team is very solid. When a team loses people try to find excuses. The thing is we have not performed and we want to play well," Kamande told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

"Obviously Sri Lanka are a solid side. But we have nothing to lose. They are the ones who are under pressure to perform. Having lost to Pakistan, this makes a must win game for them and we will try and put pressure on them," Kamande added.

The Teams (From):

Sri Lanka:
Kumar Sangakkara (captain and wicketkeeper), Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Silva, Chamara Kapugedera, Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Dilhara Fernando, Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath.

Kenya: Jimmy Kamande (captain), Tanmay Mishra, James Ngoche, Shem Ngoche, Alex Obanda, Collins Obuya, David Obuya (wicketkeeper), Nehemiah Odhiambo, Thomas Odoyo, Peter Ongondo, Elijah Otieno, Maurice Ouma, Rakep Patel, Steve Tikolo and Seren.

Sri Lanka vs Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2011:Scorecard

CRICKET FANS are eagerly awaiting the big match between two south Asian teams Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday, February 26. Pakistan and Sri Lanka match will be played under flood lights.

Both group 'A' teams, Pakistan and Sri Lanka sunk their opponents in their opening matches with a huge margin of more than 200 runs.

Pakistan started their World Cup 2011 journey against Kenya and won the match by 205 runs. Pakistan's young batsman Umar Akmal scored 71 runs and captain Shahid Afridi claimed five wickets for 16 runs. Whereas, the Sri Lankan team won their first match by 210 runs against Canada and Mahela Jayawardene and captain Kumar Sangakkara scored 100 and 92 runs respectively.

The last time Pakistan and Sri Lanka had a face off in world cup was at the WACA Ground, Perth, Australia. Pakistan, the winner of 1992 Cricket World Cup, won that match by four wickets. Meanwhile, out of the 120 ODIs played between these two countries, Pakistan has won 70 and Sri Lanka won 46 matches.

Pakistani batting line is mostly dependent on Akmal brothers viz Kamran and Umar, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad and Younis Khan. Whereas, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul and Abdul Razzaq are their key blowers. However, a major chunk of the team's victory also depends on captain Shahid Afridi who needs to show his batting skills during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The Sri Lankan team is one of the most consistent teams in World Cup in all the departments of batting, bowling and fielding. Their batsmen Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan can set a huge target for the opponents whereas bowlers like Muttiah Muralitharan and Lasith Malinga can pick wickets in regular intervals.

Given below are the squads of Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Pakistan: Shahid Afridi (capt), Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal (wk), Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Abdur Rehman, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanvir, Ahmed Shehzad.

Sri Lanka: Kumar Sangakkara (capt/wk), Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Silva, Chamara Kapugedera, Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Dilhara Fernando, Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath.

ICC Cricket Worldcup 2011 Bangladesh win over Ireland by 27 runs.

Chasing a winning target of 206, Ireland were all out for 178 in 45 overs to give Bangladesh victory by 27 runs.
Dhaka: Bangladesh stung flat-footed Ireland to resurrect their World Cup campaign with a 27-run victory in front of some 25,000 boisterous home fans on Friday.

Bangladesh, bowled out for 205 after taking first strike in the day-night match, hit back to dismiss the leading non-Test nation for 178 in 45 overs at the packed Sher-e-Bangla stadium.

Former captain Mohammad Ashraful, who scored just one run, turned an unlikely hero with the ball by claiming two top-order wickets with his part-time off-spin.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan also picked up two wickets with left-arm spin before seamer Shafiul Islam polished off the tail in quick time with 4-21 from eight overs.

Bangladesh, who had lost their first match to India last week, lapped up the pressure in a game they had to win to stay in contention for the quarter-finals from Group B.

But the co-hosts, who play all their league matches at home, must still beat the Netherlands and at least one of the established teams among England, South Africa and the West Indies.

The win helped Bangladesh avenge two successive defeats by Ireland in major events, having lost during the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean and again in the 2009 World Twenty20 in England.

"It was a good game. I thought we played really hard cricket although we didn't bat well. Our bowlers and fielders showed great character and our support was excellent," said Shakib.

Disappointed Irish skipper William Porterfield said a poor batting display cost his side a crucial win.

"It's not hard to work out where we lost the game. We never settled down with the bat. The first 50 overs was pretty good," he said.

But he added: "You can't afford that many soft dismissals."

Shakib turned to spin after just one over from Shafiul, bringing on left-armer Abdul Razzak in the second over and off-spinner Naeem Islam in the third.

The move paid immediate dividends as Paul Stirling was stumped off Razzak for nine, before Irish captain William Porterfield fell to Shakib's first delivery for 20.

Ed Joyce and Niall O'Brien carried the score from 36-2 to 75 when Ashraful struck with the first delivery of his second spell.

Joyce, the former England batsman, made a fluent 16 when he was beaten in the air by a flighted ball and gave a delighted Ashraful an easy return catch.

Ashraful then bowled Andrew White for 10, while Shakib claimed his second wicket when Niall O'Brien fell to a diving catch by Tamim Iqbal at deep mid-wicket after making 38.

Kevin O'Brien slammed three fours and a six in 37 during a sixth-wicket stand of 41 with Andre Botha when he pulled Shafiul to mid-wicket to reduce Ireland to 151-6 in the 37th over.

Shafiul, who had recovered in time from a shoulder injury to play the key match, claimed three of the last four wickets to send Ireland crashing.

Earlier, seamer Andre Botha picked up three wickets and George Dockrell and Trent Johnston claimed two each to bowl out the hosts in 49.2 overs.

The hosts made a blistering start, racing to 49 without loss by the end of the fifth over, 37 of those runs coming from the blade of Tamim.

But the advantage was soon lost as four wickets fell for 33 runs in the next 10 overs.

Man of the match Tamim, who top-scored with 70 against India, began by taking 10 runs in Boyd Rankin's opening over and stroked seven boundaries in his 44 off 43 balls.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Raqibul Hasan lifted the hosts with a 61-run stand for the fifth wicket, before tailender Naeem Islam boosted the total with a defiant 29 towards the end.

England vs. Netherlands - ICC World Cup 2011 match preview

After exuberantly cherishing their 3-2 Ashes win, suffering a 1-6 One Day International (ODI) series drubbing, and maligning their hectic FTP (Future Tour Programme) and lengthy World Cup schedule, England’s cricket team are all set to kick off their ICC 2011 World Cup campaign.

The Poms will take on the Netherlands tomorrow at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha in Nagpur.

England will experiment their roaring gun, Kevin Pietersen, as an opener in what would be a mismatched World Cup game.

The South Africa-born attacking batsman is the best natural stroke player in England’s squad. The 30-year old Natal batsman is well capable of batting 50-overs on his day.

There isn't much to compare when it comes to the performance of both sides in the past as England is one of the World Cup favourites, while Peter Borren’s side stands among the tournament outsiders.

But England must have their 4-wicket mauling at the hands of Oranje brigade in the 2009 World Twenty20 Championship opener at Lord’s on their minds.

Strauss himself said that they would not take Holland as an easy opposition.

"It underlines the point that you can't under-estimate sides like Holland” said the England captain on Monday. "If we are 10 per cent off and they have a good day, we are in trouble", he added.

Six players, who played were part of that Twenty20 triumphant squad, including, Peter Borren, Bas Zuiderent, Pietar Seelaar, Alex Kerevezee, Ryan ten Doeschate and Tom de Grooth, are also part of this time’s World Cup squad and must be eager to emulate their World Twenty20 showing in the 50-overs mega event.

The focus of the World Twenty20 champions would, undoubtedly, be on their star batsman, KP (Kevin Pietersen), who would be seen in a new position, as opener with captain, Andrew Strauss.

The damage that the Natal-born batsman can cause to any bowling attack during restrictions could be nastiest nightmare a bowler could have. And he would obviously be hoping to exploit fielding restrictions in the power-plays.

While England will be missing the likes of Eion Morgan, who was ruled out of the World Cup squad with an injured finger just a week before the esteemed event, a lot would depend on how Paul Collingwood, Ian Bell, Matt Prior and Ravi Bopara perform in the middle overs.

England are expected to field the same playing XI, which featured in the warm-up games except for off-spinner Graeme Swann, who is likely to replace Michael Yardy.

The Stuart Broad spearheaded pace brigade would include Tim Bresnan and James Anderson.

To Netherlands, the only injury concern is their regular skipper, Peter Borren, battling a side strain. If Borren fails to prove fitness on Tuesday morning, he would be replaced by Bas Zuiderent as stand-in captain.

In Borren’s absence much would depend on the all-round prowess of Ryan ten Doeschate. Tom de Grooth would also be a vital cog in Netherland’s batting line-up.

England seemed out of flair against Canada in their opening warm-up game as they survived a scare, winning by only 16 runs.

However, their 69-run win against Pakistan in their second and last preparatory game would give them a boost ahead of their Cup opener.

The Jamtha track seems to be a batting wicket as the World Cup practice match between the Black Caps and Ireland saw almost 600 runs being put on the board by both sides. Hence winning the toss and batting first would be best.

Under usual conditions, this game would have passed by without being noticed by anybody barring English fans. But given the side’s sudden plunging form, Tuesday’s game would be crucial for Strauss and his men to gain some much needed momentum before heading to Karnataka to take on a strong Indian outfit in their second Cup fixture on 27 February.

India Vs South Africa 4th ODI Live Cricket Streaming and Highlights

Team India coach Gary Kirsten had said earlier that the South African tour of India will be like a major mission and will matter a much for practice for World Cup. The Indian team didn’t disappoint the coach. They drawn the series, won the only T20 match. And now are looking in much better condition to win the ODI series.

India is ready to win their first ever ODI series in South Africa in the 4th ODI only. The guests are already having a lead of 2-1 in the 5-matches series. The platform for the 4th ODI is ready and will be played today on Jan 21 at St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.

India’s record is not good at St. George’s, as the team has lost all the 4 matches played here. On the other hand, South Africa has played 25 matches here, of which it won in 16 and lost 8 matches.

Team India would keep M Vijay out of today’s squad, as he has not shown any promise in the matches played before. Parthiv Patel can get a chance over him. Bowlers are doing their job well with the bat as well, but India has to overcome from the failure of top-order batsmen.

South Africa would be under a huge pressure. Captain Graeme Smith too has said this that they are under pressure and have to win this do or die match. South Africa doing doing changes in the team has called all-rounder Albie Morkel and wicketkeeper batsman Morne Van Wyk, who knocked an excellent half-century in his debut T20 match against India recently.

The match will be aired on Ten Cricket Live at 6 pm.

Bangladesh Cricket Team ICC Cricket world cup 2011 Announced

Bangladesh Cricket Team ICC Cricket world cup 2011

Bangladesh Suqad For 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup

SWOT for Bangladesh in World Cup, 2011

Bangladesh will play India in the first game of the tournament, and will look to repeat their performances of the last World Cup. It will not be easy this time around.

Strengths:

Their opening batting has been their strengths, and if the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes can continue batting like the way they have been, their batting could get a huge boost before getting to the World Cup.

Weakness:

The inability to forge partnerships right throughout the innings is a huge weakness. On many occasions, they have collapsed after having had a good start to their innings and that has led to many an issue with the batting.

Opportunities:

This is their best chance to make it through the second round, given that the tournament will be played in the sub-continent, where their spinners will have a good time.

Threats:

The lack of pace bowling strength and over-dependence on the likes of Iqbal and Shakib al hasan is a huge issue for them.

Players to watch out for:

It has to be the batting of Tamim Iqbal, who has, thus far, been his side’s lone warrior.

ICC World Cup – Pakistan Team Squad For World Cup 2011

SWOT  Analysis for Pakistan in World Cup, 2011

Pakistan were to host the World Cup but had to be pulled out of the tournament after it was found that security was going to be a hassle.

Strengths:

Pakistan posses the bowling line-up that can exploit the sub-continent conditions. Shahid Afridi and Abdur Rahman can bowl good spin while Umar Gul’s ability to swing the ball will be a huge asset.

Weakness:

Far too often, the side has shown a penchant to collapse in the face of pressure. The inexperience of the line-up will be one to watch out.

Opportunities:

The pressure will be off Pakistan given that they are neither playing at home nor are they going to be favourites.
Threats:

The off-field controversies could get the better of the side after the issues associated with spot-fixing.

Players to watch out for:

Younis Khan’s experience will be a key to the side’s success as would be the bowling of Saeed Ajmal.

Cricket: Vettori insists NZ focused for test series

Such is the seemingly all-consuming focus on the one-day World Cup, the test series between New Zealand and Pakistan threatens to be little more than an entree ahead of the standard main course diet of limited overs cricket the remainder of the summer promises.

Three tests became two so a sixth one-day international between the two teams could be squeezed in as all roads lead to the subcontinent-hosted World Cup from late-February to early-April.

The upshot leaves New Zealand cricket followers just 10 days - weather and batting capabilities permitting - to savour the purest form of the game, starting with the first day of the first test here at Seddon Park tomorrow.

But any notion the players' minds would not be on the job and instead wandering toward the World Cup was today quickly shut down by New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori.

"I think the nature of cricket these days is that you change from format to format, and good players make sure they can switch and that's what we have to do," he said, adding that New Zealand's gameplan would be simple."We competed in India because we scored big first innings runs and were able to stay in the game, so that's our first goal and bring as much penetration as we can with the ball."

The test series shapes as an intriguing one between two teams with their own issues but who have enjoyed some moderate success recently in the longer form of the game.

Pakistan drew a two-test series 0-0 with powerhouse South Africa in the United Arab Emirates in November, while in the same month New Zealand earned worthy draws in two tests touring world No 1 India before capitulating in the third match.

But as their rankings of sixth (Pakistan) and eighth (New Zealand) suggest, all is not well.

Pakistan have brought a completely different squad to the one which drew a three-match series 1-1 here last summer, due in no small part to spot-fixing allegations which plagued them in 2010.

Not present are opener Salman Butt and frontline bowlers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer, the trio facing a six-day Independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal hearing starting in Doha, Qatar, tonight as the spot-fixing scandal nears a resolution. The trio have been charged with offences relating to alleged activity in a test against England at Lord's in August and what impact the hearing has on Pakistan's performance in the coming days remains to be seen.

Asif and Aamer are missed, Asif in particular with the pace bowler consistently among the wickets here last summer on pitches that suited him to a tee.

Also missing are wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal and batsman Mohammad Yousuf, once the best in the world, who were surprisingly left out of the touring party. And if the lineup that played their last test, against South Africa in November, is any indication, talented and fearless young batsman Umar Akmal, who scored a test century on debut at Dunedin last summer, will not even make the 11.

Much will hinge on captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Pakistan's fourth leader in the past year, veteran Younis Khan and in-form Azhar Ali to score the bulk of the runs, while Umar Gul and left-armer Wahab Riaz will spearhead the attack, possibly with unorthodox left-armer Sohail Tanvir, who bowls off the wrong foot, as the third seamer, though Tanvir Ahmed took claimed a six-wicket bag on debut against South Africa.

Abdur Rehman is the only spin option after offspinner Saeed Ajmal returned home following the sudden death of his father on Tuesday.

New Zealand, under new coach John Wright, needs to find greater consistency at test level, particularly with the bat. Wright has made it clear he expects the talented top six to score heavily more often, and in the first innings to set up test wins.

The hosts have a more settled lineup than the tourists and the 11 largely picks itself, with Brent Arnel expected to be given the third seamer role ahead of Daryl Tuffey.

James Franklin, impressive in the one-day segment of the Indian tour, could mount a case for Kane Williamson's No 6 spot but it would not be a strong one. Williamson scored a century on debut in India and averaged 42.4 across the series, and with his ability to bowl offspin he could be useful on a Seddon Park wicket that is expected to dry out quickly.

New Zealand start slight favourites with the bookmakers, understandably on home soil and with Pakistan missing so many frontline players, but the tourists are capable of spectacular cricket at the drop of a hat.

Teams:

New Zealand: Daniel Vettori (captain), Brendon McCullum, Tim McIntosh, Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder, Kane Williamson, Reece Young, Tim Southee, Brent Arnel, Chris Martin, James Franklin, Daryl Tuffey (two to be omitted).

Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Mohammad Hafeez, Taufeeq Umar, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Adnan Akmal, Saeed Ajmal, Abdur Rehman, Umar Gul, Tanvir Ahmed, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz (three to be omitted).

Start time: 1100 NZT.

Umpires: Daryl Harper (Australia) and Rod Tucker (Australia).

Match referee: Roshan Mahanama (Sri Lanka).
