England Vs Netherlands World Cup 2011 Group 'B' match today

THE ORANGE city of Nagpur is ready to welcome two group 'B' teams England and Netherlands for their opening match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on Tuesday, February 22 for a day-night affair. During the last encounter between these two teams in the ICC T20 World Cup at Lord's in June 2009, Netherlands had overpowered England by four wickets.

In the warm-up matches before the start of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, the English team won their both matches against Canada and Pakistan, whereas Netherlands lost one match against Sri Lanka while it won the match against Kenya.

Team England, which lost the ODI series against Australia by 1-6 just before the World Cup, have changed their batting strategy for this elite tournament. Andrew Strauss has promoted his star batsman Kevin Pietersen to the top of the England order. Pietersen emerged as the top-scorer for his team against Pakistan in the warm-up match with useful 66 runs.

England's sensational pacer Stuart Broad is in top form and claimed a number of wickets in the warm up matches just before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
