IPL-4 Fixtures and Schedule-2011 | Indian Premier League 4 Fixtures

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) announced the 2011 IPL fixtures and schedule on February 16. The DLF IPL season will kick off on Friday, April 8, 2011 with the champions Chennai Super Kings playing against the vulnerable and desperate-to-see-some-wins Kolkata Knight Riders at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Indian Premier League is the professional league of Twenty20 cricket competition in India. Started in 2008, it's the buzz when it comes to cricket in India. The fervor of cricket coupled with the association of top-notch Bollywood stars and industrialists make IPL one of the most sought-after event widely followed across the globe.

The schedule of the DLF 2011 IPL indicates 10 teams will play 74 matches at 13 venues over 51 days.

IPL 2011 is scheduled to start in first week of april . It should begin a few days after World cup ends. Lalit Modi has been sacked and 2 teams which very removed are back again now after court intervention ( Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab ) . Kochi cricket team has come out of all problems.Now it looks as if 10 teams are going to play. So the number of matches are going to be increased.
